Tragically, we have lost in Eve an incredible and formidable bright spark and star with a dazzling and outstanding personality. Tragedies never make sense, the more so when death occurs in someone still so young and gifted as Eve. Already having made several seminal scientific discoveries, Eve had the potential to do so much more. Eve had a great sense of humour with an infectious laugh...and was totally caring for others My sincere condolences to Chris, Isobel (who I remember well as a delightful "cheeky" chip off her mother) and Eilidh.
